Robotech II: The Sentinels was conceived as a 65-episode follow-up to the original series. But due to the whims of television programming, Robotech II was never completed. What remains of this production are 4 partially completed episodes. The feature length film is compiled from this animation.
We follow the crew of the SDF-3 as they prepare to take off on a voyage to a distant star system, and watch a hostile alien race, bent on revenge, annihilates the population of the home world of the Robotech Masters.
